Volunteer Appreciation Night – Sky Sox Baseball – July 14th  - Sponsored by the Parish Council

TODAY, BY 5pm, IS THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER. CALL THE OFFICE AT 719-528-8407 OR GO ONLINE AT www.saintgabriel.net<http://www.saintgabriel.net> TO REGISTER. Printed Tickets will be available at the volunteer desk in the parish office after July 10th for all those who sent an RSVP. The Pastoral Council will be serving free hot dogs, chips and drinks at the tailgate at 5:30 before the game.   Game starts at 7:05.  Bring your lawn chairs. Thank you to all of our volunteers who help make St. Gabriel’s a special and welcoming place for all those who enter the doors.

Behind The Sound Mixer – Work Of Your Hands Opportunity
 Interested in joining an awesome team of sound techs?  Get involved with the audio & video ministry here at St. Gabriel. Those who serve play a vital part of making sure our priest, musicians and readings are heard.   Scared of all the knobs and flashing lights, NO problem, we will train you!  In a short period of time, you could be serving God’s people during Mass in the sound booth. Back to School Drive
The BACK-TO-SCHOOL DRIVE - is our annual appeal coordinated through the St Gabriel Outreach Committee for children in the foster care system served by the Kids Crossing Child Placement Agency.  This years’ collection benefits 92 children and teens in multiple school districts. Some students are on modified or year round school schedules.  A display table with copies of the list of items requested will be set up in the Narthex from July 1st through July 23rd for your donations. Having the required school supplies can make a huge difference in a young person’s self esteem and can help keep him or her on the right track towards school success. Totus Tuus is coming to St. Gabriel July 23-28
Registration is open and forms can be found in the office or at the Welcome Desk.

Mission Possible
All Middle Schoolers are invited to participate Mission Possible.  Participants will have the opportunity to grow in the Catholic Faith, be immersed in prayer, including daily Mass, Adoration and Reconciliation, learn more and engage in Catholic Social teachings, and witness to others about our faith. Check-in is on Wednesday, July 19th at 7:30am. Mission Possible will conclude on Friday, July 21st after the 5:30pm Mass.  Parents and families are welcome to join us for Mass.  Cost is $45.00 for early registration and late registration is $55.00. Early registration closes on June 30.  After June 30, you may still register, however, a t-shirt will not be guaranteed.
