New Biblical School Apologetics Course
We are excited to be hosting a one-year course from the Biblical and Catechetical Schools titled, “Apologetics for the New Evangelization,” on Monday mornings at 9am, starting on September 11.  The class will explore the foundations for many of the important teachings of the Church by looking at the writings of the early Church Fathers, Vatican II, the magisterial documents and encyclicals since Vatican II, and the Scriptures. By attending this class, you will discover the “why” behind several of the Catholic Church’s practices. This class is also a great way to learn basic apologetics so you can be equipped, in the words of St. Peter, to “always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who calls you to account for the hope that is in you” (1 Peter 3:15).

Mass Schedule for Briarfest September 9-10

Masses will be held on Saturday September 9 at 5pm and Saturday September 10 at 8:30am, 10:30am, 12:30pm (Spanish). There will be no 4:30pm Mass on September 10. Please plan accordingly.

Daily Mass Change
September 11-15:  Priests on retreat.  No daily Mass or confessions. There will be Eucharistic Adoration on Wednesday from 10am-7pm.
