Mission Big Friendly- Support our Team

Next weekend April 14-15th the members of the Mission Big Friendly team will be handing out envelopes after all masses. The envelopes contain information on how you can join us on our mission trip to Oklahoma City by giving in a variety of ways. We have 18 teens and adult traveling to Oklahoma City from June 16-24th. As a Friend in Service, you don't give by going, but rather go by giving. Please prayerfully consider how you can best support our Mission Big Friendly team.

Date Night Grand Finale – Deacon Chris Phelps Presents…

A talk on Apologetics & Defending Marriage Today.  The St. Gabriel Date Night ministry team welcomes back Deacon Chris and invites all married, engaged, or dating couples of all ages to our final event of the season, Friday, April 20, 2018, beginning at 6:00pm with a Mexican themed potluck dinner in the St. Gabriel Four-Plex.  Please bring a Mexican food item to share.  Couples with children may bring a kid-friendly dish for the childcare room (indicate on evite).  We will provide water and lemonade for drinks.  The formal presentation begins around 6:30pm, and we will finish by 8:00pm.  Childcare will be provided, but because slots are limited, you must RSVP by Monday, 16 April with the number and ages of your children.  For the children’s safety, we cannot guarantee last minute walk-ins.  Please e-mail Hector and Christine at hrccmc at yahoo.com if you would like to be added to the evite list. Divine Mercy Sunday

The Chaplet of Divine Mercy will be prayed after all Masses the weekend of April 7/8. The Chaplet honors Jesus' passion and is prayed to atone for our sins and the sins of the whole world. There will be a table in the Narthex should you wish to purchase a Divine Mercy image for your home after Masses that weekend. Your personal Divine Mercy images will be blessed at the April 8 Divine Mercy 3pm Holy Hour.

Living in Easter as a New Creation in Christ!

April 16, 30, and May 14

6:30 – 8pm/Neumann

Join Deacon Dave Geislinger as we contemplate the “New Life” to which we are called as we celebrate the Easter Season.  We may wonder what that looks like or, more precisely, how it differs from the old life we are to leave behind.  Through study of encyclicals, we will discover with ever greater clarity this “New Life” to which all Catholics have been called.
