Wanting to grow in the foundations of our Catholic Faith?

The Bible and the Sacraments is an 11-week study that, not only looks at the basic teaching of the Church as to their meaning and origin, but investigates the deeper mystery of the sacraments as illuminated by Sacred Scripture. The Bible and the Sacraments is based on the work of world-renowned theologian Dr. Scott Hahn. Presented by popular speaker and author Matthew Leonard, the deep mysteries and truths of the sacraments come alive in a whole new way. Please join us on Tuesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. starting May 1st.  The Participant Workbook for The Bible and the Sacraments is $15.96. A Participant Kit contains not only the Participant Workbook but also two companion books: Swear to God by Dr. Scott Hahn, and Speaking the Love of God: An Introduction to the Sacraments by Jacob Wood.  $35.96. Senior Social Group

All senior parishioners are invited to join our social group.  We meet on the second Tuesday of the month for lunch and the fourth Tuesday for a game day (cards, dominoes, etc.)  Our lunch in May is Tuesday, May 9 at noon at Amanda's Cantina, 8050 N. Academy Blvd.  Please call Sharon at 282-1912 for more information.

Second Collection This Weekend

This weekend, we will be taking up the Catholic Home Missions Appeal. Nearly half of our country is considered home mission territory. This appeal helps our neighbors here in the United States who do not have access to basic pastoral services like Mass, the sacraments, and religious education. Through your support, the Catholic Home Missions Appeal helps these mission dioceses form vibrant faith communities and strengthens the Church at home. Please be generous.

Faith Formation Registration

Faith Formation Registration for 2018-2019 begins April 29th. Registration forms will be handed out during Faith Formation classes May 6/7. You may also stop by the office Mon-Fri 9-2 to pick up a registration form.

St. Gabriel's Volunteer Appreciation Night

All volunteers and their families are invited to the St. Gabriel Volunteer Appreciation Night on June 8 from 5-9pm at Cordera Community Center. There will be a free dinner, lawn games for adults and kids, outdoor pool, and more. Tickets are required. To RSVP, go to saintgabriel.net or stop by the Parish Office Mon-Fri 9am-5pm.
