<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="en-US">Come hear Dr. Tasha Gefresh talk about the early history and art of the cross through the 8th and 9th century movement that brought prominence to the symbol with high crosses as well as the special reverence we give the
cross on Good Friday. Tasha Gefresh completed her PhD in the History of Art at the University of Edinburgh in 2015; her thesis was on the very first of the “Irish High Crosses,” those on the island of Iona, Scotland. The talk will take place Thursday April
6 from 7-8pm in the St. John Vianney Room.</span><span lang="en-US"></span></p>
