[News from St. Gabriel Parish]

We have the kids.   Now we need the adults!

Vacation Bible School at St. Gabriel's is a week full of faith and fun.  We transform the church into a wonderful adventure for the kids of our parish.  This year the theme is EVEREST - conquering challenges with Gods mighty power.   At VBS the kids learn more about their faith thru games, bible story adventures, singing, dancing, science experiments and even thru the daily snacks.   They also learn about kids in other countries and their struggles.

This experience is for kids age 4 thru entering 5th grade.  We have kids 6th grade and older that help but we have to have adults with all these kids.

VBS CURRENTLY IS IN NEED OF THE FOLLOWING ADULT POSITIONS:

Lead for Snacks
Lead for Games
Asst. lead for Games
Asst. lead for Sing and Play
Leads for each age group - we need 2 adults per age group

The dates for VBS are June 15-19 from 8:00am - 12:00pm.

You need to be a parishioner for at least 6 months and safe trained.  We are having a safe training session Tuesday, May 12 at 5:30pm.

If you are not able to devote this much time to the program please also consider donating either money for food for the snacks.   We will have a board in the Narthex the first part of June with listed items needed.
