New Deacon Assignment
New deacon assignments have been announced in the Diocese.  Our Deacon André Mason has been assigned to St. Dominic’s starting August 1. We thank him for his many years of service, wish him well and look forward to celebrating his new assignment in the weeks ahead.  Details will be announced soon regarding Deacon André’s going away party.

Beacon of Faith Commitment Cards

The Beacon of Faith Campaign is well on its way. Our campaign will take involvement and participation by all to be a success! Please send in your Commitment Cards as soon as possible so we can know everyone's intentions.

Gabriel’s Gift’s food pantry collection is July 29 and 30
Our monthly food pantry collection for Mercy’s Gate is next weekend. Please pick up a bin after mass today and bring your donation when you come to mass next weekend. Critically needed food items include: muffin and pancake mixes, cereal, Chunky soup (large cans), canned fruit, canned vegetables (no green beans or corn), canned tomatoes/tomato sauce, jelly, main courses (Spam, chili, sardines, canned salmon, canned tuna, canned ravioli, Spaghetti-O, etc.), Ramen and spaghetti sauce.
Other needed items include: fruit juice, coffee, crackers, dry beans, flour, macaroni and cheese, dry pasta and rice. Non-food items include face soap, dryer sheets, laundry soap and diapers (sizes 4, 5 and 6). Thank you for your continued support of this vital community outreach to our area food pantry.

Apologetics
We are excited to announce that our parish is hosting the Catechetical School's Apologetics course this fall for the first time ever! The class will be held on Thursdays at 9:00am starting the week after Labor Day. If you have been feeling the Lord’s call to learn more about our faith and grow in your conversion, then “now is the acceptable time!” (2 Cor 6:2) Be sure to save a date for an information session this summer to hear more about the program and ask questions. Help Needed For Totus Tuus
St. Gabriel is hosting Totus Tuus next week.  We will have a team of 4 coming to lead this program (2 males and 2 females).
We are in need of generous volunteers to help feed the team.  They need lunches Monday - Friday.  Easy, quick food.
They also need dinner Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.  This can be brought to the church or you have the opportunity to have dinner with the team either at your home or a restaurant.
