Divine Chocolate Advent Calendars!

The Outreach Committee will be selling Divine Chocolate Advent Calendars after masses this weekend for $5.00 each.  They offer a wonderful way to involve children in the wonder and anticipation of the Advent season while supporting people in third world countries.  And there’s yet another benefit to purchasing Fair Trade products! The Outreach Committee donates our modest profits to St. Gabriel’s Building Campaign. Last year, the donation was $667.  Don’t miss the opportunity to accomplish so much good this holiday season. Stop by the Fair Trade table in the narthex November 4th or 5th.  Supplies are limited!

Marian House

Did you know St. Gabriel has a group of volunteers the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Marian House? We provide assistance in the daily meal preparation, service and cleanup and we would love for you to join us! There are two shifts available, either 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The minimum age to participate is 16, however if you are younger you may be able to with a parent volunteer present. Our next scheduled day is Thursday, November 9th. Contact Cyndy Pylkka, ccjsp at comcast.net or 719-964-6575 if interested.

Please Support Our Annual Thanksgiving Food Basket Drive

The Outreach Ministry is accepting donations for our annual Thanksgiving Food Basket drive. We will be providing Thanksgiving dinner to families through Mercy's Gate as well as military families in need of assistance. Sign up at the table in the narthex to provide a complete meal or a partial meal. A shopping list for both is available at the sign-up table. Please return your food donations to the narthex by Sunday, November 19.  Thank you for supporting this important program!

Advent by Candlelight

As we approach the Christmas season we might begin to get so busy we forget to sit at Jesus' feet and listen to Him.  Advent by Candlelight is a time to remember to do so.  If you would like to be a part of planning this event, please join us on Nov. 14th at 7:00 pm in the St. Kateri room to help prepare.
