Stations of the Cross and Lenten Fish Fry Tonight

Stations of the Cross will begin at 6pm tonight. There will be a Knights of Columbus fish fry after the stations. The price for these dinners is $10.00 per adult, $5.00 per child 3-12 years of age, and children under 3 are free. Dinner includes fish, cole slaw, baked potato, salad, roll, dessert, and drink. There will also be grilled cheese sandwiches available.

Health and Safety Team

Sign up for CPR classes after all masses this weekend. The next CPR class will  be March 16th from 9am to 1pm. Also, our 2 AED devices mounted on the walls near both sets of bathrooms are NOT connected to 911 services and no alarm will sound if the panel door is opened.  If a knowledgeable adult asks someone to retrieve an AED, play it safe and open the panel and bring the AED to the ailing person.

Behind The Sound Mixer – Work Of Your Hands Opportunity

Interested in joining an awesome team of sound techs?  Get involved with the audio & video team here at St. Gabriel. Those who serve play a vital part of making sure our priest, musicians and readings are heard.   Scared of all the knobs and flashing lights, NO problem, we will train you!  In a short period of time, you could be serving God’s people during mass in the sound booth. Safe Haven Sunday: Equipping the Family, Safeguarding Children

St. Gabriel is setting aside this weekend, March 9-10, as Safe Haven Sunday in order to give focused time and resources to address the harmfulness of pornography and other online threats to marriages, family life and culture. Today’s awareness day is celebrated through prayer and a reflection within the context of the Mass. After Mass, each individual and family will be given Covenant Eyes’ book, Equipped: Smart Catholic Parenting in a Sexualized Culture. This book includes a unique seven-day text-to-opt-in program: The Equipped 7-Day Challenge. This Challenge provides practical tips any caring adult can take to create safer digital environments for themselves and our young people. Thank you for celebrating with us!
