Peaches and Pears Delivery
Saint Gabriel’s, Knights of Columbus Council 12335 will distribute ordered Peaches and Pears on Saturday 17 August 2019 at Saint Gabriel the Archangel. The pickup time will be between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Payment may be with cash, check, or credit card.  Please contact Grand Knight, Vic Garcia, skvicgarcia at gmail.com or (719) 338-3725 if you have any questions. Note:  If you missed ordering your peaches and pears.  There will be extra Peaches and Pears for sale at the pickup point at Saint Gabriel’s on 17 August.

Thursday, August 15th is the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. This is a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses will be at 12:15pm and 6:30pm. The office will be closed this day.

Mass for Martyrs
Friday, Aug. 16, 6:00 p.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Castle Rock, CO
With the blessing of Bishop Michael Sheridan of the diocese of Colorado Springs, and along with the dignified presence of local, state and international Catholic Hierarchy, Chorbishop Sharbel Maroun of the U.S. Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Our Lady of Lebanon, Los Angeles, will celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass according to the Syro-Aramaic Rite of the Maronite Catholic Church. The words of consecration will be chanted in the Syro-Aramaic language of Christ. The intention of the Mass will be offered in Solidarity with the persecuted Christians, the innocent victims of the shootings in El Paso TX, and Dayton OH, the martyrs of the Faith, for our nation, and for peace. The celebration will host U.S. Catholic and Ecumenical Christian Leaders, Civil Society leaders, honorable U.S. Government and Public Officials, and other remarkable people of goodwill.
