Mass Schedule

                   English Schedule

•         Daily Mass 7:30am Monday – Friday; Daily Confessions from 8am-8:30am.

•         Adoration Monday -Friday 8am-9pm; Sign up for regular weekly hour at https://adorationpro.org/gabrielco/.

•         Saturday Mass 4pm; Saturday Confessions 2:30-3:30pm.

•         Sunday Masses 8:00am,10:00am, and 4pm.

    Spanish Schedule

•         Saturday Spanish Mass 7pm; Confessions before Mass at 6:30pm.

•         Sunday Spanish Mass 1:00pm; Confession before Mass at 12:30pm.

•         Spanish Holy Hour 2nd Thursday of the Month-7pm.

No Daily Mass
No Daily Mass Due to a Priest Leadership Retreat, there will be no Daily Mass or Confessions from October 25-29. There will be Adoration from 8am-9pm.

Gabriel’s Gifts collection
Our monthly food pantry collection for Mercy’s Gate is next weekend, Oct 30-31. . Critically needed items include Chunky soup, canned chili, toiletries and toilet paper. Other needed items include canned tuna and chicken, Hamburger Helper, spaghetti sauce, dry pasta, macaroni and cheese, rice (1 lb. bags or smaller), canned fruits and vegetables, instant mashed potatoes, peanut butter, jelly, condiments, cereal, instant oatmeal, coffee, granola and protein bars, fruit cups, milk and juice boxes, individually wrapped snacks, baby food, formula and diapers.   Needed toiletries include tooth paste and toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, razors and shaving cream. Please drop off your donations at the Knights of Columbus trailer before the weekend masses. Collection times are 3:00 –4:00 on Saturday and 7:15 − 8:00, 9:15 –10:00 and 3:15 --4:00 on Sunday. Your donations make a huge difference in the lives of our neighbors. Thank you!

Christmas Cards for Prisoners
The Christmas Cards for Prisoners card signing party will be on Saturday morning November 6th from 9:30 to 12:00 in the Michael/Raphael room. Sign ups to attend will be in the narthex after Masses on Saturday October 30th at the 4:00 pm Mass and Sunday the 31st after the 8:00 and 10:00 am Masses.

Knights of Columbus Blood Drive

The next Blood Drive is Sunday, November 7, 8:30 am through 1:00 pm, in the Fellowship Hall Section A. To sign up to donate blood on November 7, go to donors.vitalant.org<http://donors.vitalant.org> website and search using Blood Drive Code 20001.  Every blood donation is tested for the COVID-19 antibodies and you are notified of the results. Trunk or Treat

Finance advisory council

We are looking for more people to participate in the Finance Council of St Gabriel Parish. We have 4 positions opening immediately. Can you run the family budget? If so, that is all the experience needed. We meet 4 times a year and the term is a 3 year commitment. Please call Marc Lanning in the parish office, 528-8407, for more information. The next meeting is Oct 20th at 6pm at the Church.

Calling all active duty, veterans, and retired military!

The Outreach Committee would like to compile a list of parishioners and their family members who are currently serving or who have served in the armed forces to be published in the bulletin for Military Appreciation Weekend in November. To have a name added to this list, please send these three items:

1. parishioner’s name (or your family member’s name)

2. their branch of service

3. and, whether they are active duty, veterans, or retired military

(This info must be sent in each year to have it in the current year’s bulletin). Please email that info to Donna Knutson: dmknutson at comcast.net<mailto:dmknutson at comcast.net>. This year’s deadline to submit names is October 29, 2021.
