Faith Formation Class Start This Sunday & Monday
Hope everyone had a great summer. The weather should be changing, summer is coming to an end and Faith Formation is about to start.   Faith Formation classes start this Sunday & Monday, August 21st and 22nd.

Food Pantry Collection - Pick up your bins this weekend
Our monthly food pantry collection for Mercy's Gate is next weekend. Please pick up a bin after mass today and bring your donation when you come to mass next weekend. Needed food items include: baking ingredients, boxed meals (Hamburger Helper, Pasta Helper, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, etc.), canned vegetables (please no corn or green beans), canned fruit, large cans of Chunky soup and chili, crackers, jelly, Jell-O, canned meats and pasta (Spam, canned ham, tuna, Spaghetti-O's) and spaghetti sauce.  Needed nonfood items include: deodorant, face soap, personal hygiene products, shampoo, toothbrushes, tooth paste and laundry detergent.  Your support of this vital program is greatly appreciated!

St. Gabriel's Ladies Ministry
Our speaker for the 25 August meeting is Sidney Rodriguez,  Liturgy and Worship.  The title of the program "The Mass, What's in it for Me", which she will discuss ways that we can get more out of mass.  On Wednesday, 7 September due to Briarfest we will be attending the Rosary/Benediction followed by Pie at Village Inn.  NO MEETING on 8 September due to Briarfest.

22 September:  Angel McGrady a presentation on FORMED

Men's Breakfast
Join Deacon Mike for breakfast, fellowship and prayer at the St. Gabriel men's breakfast on August 27 at 8:30 in the four-plex. The topic of the initial meeting will be: "The Father - Son Relationship Part II".

Wed, Aug 24:  Eucharistic Adoration from 10am - 7pm. Pray the   rosary and Divine Mercy chaplet after the 12:15 Mass.     Children's hour at 2 pm. Pray the rosary at 6:15 pm.     Evening Prayer and Benediction start at 6:40 pm.
Wed, Aug 24:  Knights of Columbus Meeting 7 pm.
Thurs, Aug 25:  Saint Gabriel Ladies Ministry Meeting 6:30 pm.
Fri, Aug 26:  Reading/discussion group for  The Diary of St.    Faustina in the Library after 12:15 Mass.
Sat, Aug 27:  Men's Breakfast 8:30 am.
Sat-Sun, Aug 27-28: Bin drop off for Gabriel's Gifts after all Masses..
